A WhatsApp sticker on a van door or a shop window says something before anyone reads a word of your signage: message us, we'll reply. It's shorthand a customer processes in a fraction of a second, and it lowers the barrier to getting in touch from a phone call to a tap.

Inside or Outside Glass?

This is the choice people don't realise they have, and it matters.

Standard adhesive sticks to the back of the vinyl, so the sticker goes on the outside of a surface — van panels, painted metal, plastic, or the outside of glass.

Face adhesive puts the glue on the printed side, so the sticker goes on the inside of glass and reads correctly from outside. That's the one you want for shop windows, office doors and vehicle rear screens.

Inside application is worth choosing wherever it's an option. The sticker is protected from weather, jet washes, road grit and anyone picking at the corner — so it lasts considerably longer and stays looking clean.

Sizes

• 80 x 80mm — the smallest. Suits packaging, counters, laptop lids and door glass where the sticker is read close up.
• 100 x 100mm — the common choice for shop windows and office doors.
• 120 x 120mm — a step up in visibility. Works well on car doors and smaller vans.
• 150 x 150mm — readable across a car park. The usual size for van side panels.
• 200 x 200mm — the largest. For rear doors, larger vehicles and signage panels where it needs to be seen at distance.

Worth thinking about viewing distance rather than available space. A sticker read from a pavement can be small; one read from another lane can't.

The Material

Polymeric vinyl rather than the cheaper monomeric grade. Polymeric is more dimensionally stable, so it doesn't shrink back from the edges over time — the reason budget vehicle stickers develop a white border after a year outdoors.

A matching gloss laminate goes over the print, protecting it from UV fade, scratches, road grit and washing. That's what keeps the green looking green rather than washing out to a pale mint after a summer.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and for the outside of a vehicle that gets driven and washed regularly.

Where They Go

• Vans and vehicles — alongside your phone number on side and rear panels, or inside the rear glass.
• Shop windows — face adhesive on the inside, so it's protected and can't be peeled off.
• Office and salon doors — at eye level near the handle.
• Signage panels — added to existing boards and fascias.
• Market stalls and pop-ups — on the display or the equipment.
• Packaging and equipment — smaller sizes on boxes, tool cases and product packaging.

Applying Them

Peel and stick, no tools needed. A few things that make the difference between a clean application and a bubbled one:

Clean the surface properly. Warm soapy water, then dry it completely. Wax, polish and road film all stop vinyl bonding.

Don't apply in the cold. Adhesive doesn't grip well below about 10 degrees. A mild day, or bring the panel indoors first.

Work from the middle out. Squeegee or thumb from the centre towards the edges, pushing air ahead of you rather than trapping it.

Leave it before washing. Give the adhesive a couple of days to bond fully before a jet wash goes near it.

What sizes are available?
80 x 80mm, 100 x 100mm, 120 x 120mm, 150 x 150mm and 200 x 200mm.

What's the minimum order?
There isn't one. Order a single sticker or as many as you need.

Can I stick it inside a window?
Yes. Choose face adhesive and the sticker applies to the inside of glass while reading correctly from outside. It's better protected that way and lasts longer.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Polymeric vinyl with a gloss laminate handles rain, UV and general weathering.

Can it go on a vehicle?
Yes, on body panels or glass. It'll survive normal driving and washing — just leave a couple of days after application before jet washing.

What surfaces work best?
Smooth, clean surfaces: glass, painted panels, metal and most plastics. Textured or dirty surfaces won't hold.

Can it be removed later?
Yes, and when removed carefully from a suitable surface it's designed to leave minimal residue.
