Our waterproof poster printing service is designed for outdoor promotions, construction sites, events and signage that demand strength and reliability. Printed on weatherproof PVC, these posters resist rain, sunlight and tearing, which makes them a practical choice for the unpredictable British weather.

Each poster is printed in full colour using high-resolution, fade-resistant inks for sharp, vibrant results that hold up outdoors. And because there's no minimum order, a single site notice is as straightforward to order as a full set for a multi-site campaign.

Choosing Your Material: 220mic or 400mic

Both options are matt white PVC and both are fully weatherproof. The difference is thickness, and it affects how the poster behaves once it's up:

• 220mic — thinner and more flexible. Easier to transport and mount flat against a board, hoarding or wall. The sensible choice for shorter-term display and anywhere the poster is fully supported behind.
• 400mic — nearly twice the thickness, and noticeably more rigid. Holds its own shape, so it works where the poster isn't backed by a flat surface, or where it'll be handled, moved and re-used. Better suited to longer-term display.

If the poster is going flat onto a board, 220mic is usually enough. If it needs to stand up on its own or survive being taken down and put back up, 400mic is worth the difference.

Sizes Available

We print waterproof posters in A3, A2, A1 and A0, plus 20in x 30in, 40in x 30in and 60in x 40in.

As a rough guide: A3 and A2 suit close-range information — site notices, door signage, and anything read from a metre or two away. A1 and A0 carry at distance, which is what you want on hoardings, fencing and outdoor advertising. The imperial sizes are common for display boards and existing frames, so they're worth checking if you're replacing an insert in something you already own.

If your poster is going indoors and doesn't need to be weatherproof, our standard A1, A2 and A3 poster printing on silk stock is a more economical option.

Turnaround & Delivery

Choose a 1 working day turnaround for urgent jobs, or 3–4 working days for standard production. Turnaround covers production only — once dispatched, orders are sent by courier.

Standard UK delivery is free on all waterproof poster orders, whatever the size or quantity.

Artwork

Multiple artworks can be uploaded in a single order, so you can print several different designs at once rather than placing separate orders.

Free blank templates are available for every size to help you set your artwork up correctly. Every file is checked by a real person before it goes to print, so obvious problems get flagged rather than printed. Please note we don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

What material are your waterproof posters printed on?

How long do waterproof posters last?
With proper installation, they hold up for extended outdoor display. They're tear-resistant and UV-stable, so they won't degrade the way paper would.
