A Banner You Can Wash and Re-Skin

Stretch fabric banners work differently to a roller banner. The graphic isn't fixed to the hardware — it's a printed fabric sleeve that slips over an aluminium frame like a pillowcase and tensions tight.

That separation is the whole point. The fabric comes off to be washed, folds into a bag rather than rolling into a cassette, and can be replaced on its own when your branding changes — keeping the frame you already own.

Fabric Only or Fabric and Frame

Choose whichever you need at the point of ordering.

Fabric and frame — the complete display, ready to assemble. What you want for a first order.

Fabric only — a replacement graphic for a frame you already have. Useful when a campaign changes, an offer expires, or a design gets refreshed. It's considerably cheaper than a full display, and it means the hardware isn't thrown away every time the artwork does.

It also makes multi-message displays practical. One frame, several fabrics, swapped over depending on the event.

Why Fabric Rather Than PVC

No creases. The fabric is tensioned over the frame rather than hanging from a roller, so there's no curl at the edges and no ripple down the middle. It sits flat from every angle, which matters when the banner is being photographed or filmed.

No glare. Fabric absorbs light rather than reflecting it. Under exhibition spotlights or a camera flash, a PVC banner produces hotspots — fabric doesn't, which is why press walls and photo backdrops almost always use it.

It packs down. The graphic folds rather than rolls. A fabric banner fits in a holdall or a suitcase; a roller banner is a rigid two-metre tube that goes in a car boot or nowhere.

It washes. Machine washable at a low temperature, which matters more than it sounds for something handled at events, stored between shows and occasionally spilled on.

Double Sided as Standard

Printed on both faces rather than as an upgrade, because the frame is designed to stand in open space rather than against a wall.

The two sides don't have to match — supply separate artwork for each face if you want different messaging front and back.

Assembly

The aluminium frame assembles tool-free in a few minutes. The fabric sleeve slides over it and zips closed at the base, tensioning as it goes.

Both the frame and the fabric pack into the supplied carry bag.

Designing Your Banner

Supply both sides as separate artwork. Each face is its own file at full finished size.

Allow for the tension. The fabric stretches over the frame, so keep critical content well inside the safe zone rather than close to the edges.

Resolution matters at this height. The graphic is over two metres tall — check images are genuinely high resolution at full size rather than scaled up.

• Safe zone: 3mm
• Resolution: 300 dpi minimum
• Format: PDF or JPEG
• Colour: CMYK — RGB and Pantone colours are converted during proofing
• Fonts: outlined or embedded
• File size: 200MB maximum in total

Every file is checked by a real person before printing, so obvious problems get flagged. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

Turnaround & Delivery

Choose a 1 working day turnaround for urgent orders, or 3–4 working days as standard. The first working day begins the day after your order is placed, and turnaround covers production only — delivery is on top of that.

Standard UK delivery is free on all stretch fabric banner orders. Collection from our Burnley production facility is also available.
