A Fabric Display That Packs Into One Bag

A tubular aluminium frame with a printed stretch fabric cover that pulls over it like a pillowcase and zips shut underneath. Every size stands 2.29m tall. You choose the width and whether the graphic is printed on one side or both.

The graphic is dye-sublimation printed on 260gsm stretch polyester, so it has no creases or glare, and it goes in the washing machine when it gets grubby. Frame, graphic and feet all pack into one carry bag. Indoor use only.

Sizes

The 850 and 1000 are upright banners and take roughly the floor space of a roller banner. The 1500 works as a small backdrop behind one person or a table. The 2000 and 2500 are full back walls. A 2500 fits a 3m frontage with room to spare either side.

Two 850s either side of a table often look better than one wide backdrop. They can be moved independently, and each can carry a different design at no extra cost.

Measure your space before ordering and check the venue's height limit if it has one. The stabilising feet stick out beyond the frame, so allow a little more depth than the frame alone.

Single or Double Sided

Single sided is printed on the front with a plain white back. It's the right choice when the stand sits against a wall, a shell scheme panel or the back of your space, where nobody sees the reverse.

Double sided is printed on both faces. It's for open-plan venues, island stands, reception areas and room dividers — anywhere people walk past both sides. It costs more than single sided, but a different design on each side costs no more than the same design on both.

If anyone will see the back at any point during the event, go double sided. A white back looks unfinished.

The carry bag is a soft bag, not a hard case. It keeps everything together but won't protect the frame from heavy knocks in a van or a hold.

Putting It Up

One person can assemble it in 5–6 minutes once they've done it once. Allow longer the first time.

1. Snap the frame sections together, matching the numbered stickers. Leave the feet off, because the graphic has to slide over the bottom of the frame.
2. Put the gloves on and slide the graphic down over the frame.
3. Fasten the zip along the underside of the bottom bar. The zip is what tensions the fabric.
4. Snap the feet on.

Getting the side edges straight: there are hems inside the graphic that can sit unevenly on the frame's edges if you pull the fabric straight down. Start with the graphic twisted 30–50mm to the left or right, pull it all the way to the bottom — part of the back face will be showing on the front at this point — then grip both sides of the frame and twist the graphic into position. Most wavy or puckered edges come from skipping this step.

What Goes Wrong, and Why

The frame shows through the fabric. The fabric isn't completely opaque. Strong light from above or behind, such as a spotlight or a window, can show the outline of the frame. Move the stand away from the light or angle it differently. If you can, check the position before the doors open.

Designs that wrap round the edge don't line up. Fabric moves slightly during printing, cutting and sewing, so the front and back never meet perfectly at the seam. Don't run text, lines or detailed shapes across from one face to the other. A plain background colour wrapping round is fine.

The graphic looks slack. The zip underneath isn't fully closed. That zip does all the tensioning.

Economy or Premium?

The Economy stand stands on clip-on stabilising feet. Our Stretch Fabric Premium Stands use a heavy-duty base and come in six sizes. Go Premium for a busy walkway where people may knock the stand. Go Economy if you're carrying it yourself and want it up quickly.

Cleaning and Replacement Graphics

Graphics are machine washable at 30°C without detergent. Dry completely before using or storing, or you'll get mildew.

The frame outlasts the graphic. Replacement graphics can be ordered on their own, so a worn or out-of-date design means a new graphic rather than a new kit. Old graphics can be recycled with other textiles.

Artwork Requirements

Use the template matching your exact width and number of sides. Templates come as PDF, Illustrator, InDesign and EPS, and they're set up at 20% of full size, so make sure your images hold their resolution when scaled up five times.

• 5mm bleed at full size, which shows as 1mm on the 20% template. The background runs all the way to the red bleed line.
• Important content inside the green safe area line. Anything outside it may wrap round the frame edge.
• Fonts outlined, images embedded
• No template guide lines included or flattened into the file
• CMYK only. Dye-sublimation can't reproduce Pantone colours, so convert them before supplying.
• PDF preferred, AI or EPS also accepted
• Double sided: supply both pages, even if the design is the same on each

Seams are sewn in black or white thread, whichever suits your design.

Every file is checked by a real person before printing, so obvious problems get flagged. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

Turnaround & Delivery

Production takes 3–4 working days. Turnaround covers production only — delivery is on top of that.

Standard UK delivery is free on all stretch fabric economy stand orders, whatever the size or quantity. Collection from our Burnley production facility is also available.

What sizes are available?

What's the minimum order?

How long does it take to put up?

Does a different design on each side cost extra?

What does the back of a single-sided stand look like?
Plain white fabric, which also covers the back of the frame.

Does everything fit in the carry bag?
Yes. The frame, feet and folded graphic all go in the one bag.

Why can I see the frame through the graphic?

Why are the edges of my graphic wavy?
The internal hems have settled unevenly. Refit the graphic twisted 30–50mm to one side, pull it fully down, then twist it straight.

Can I use Pantone colours?
No. Dye-sublimation prints in CMYK only, so convert Pantone colours before sending your file.

Can I use it outdoors?
