SEG Fabric Pop-Ups

A Full Back Wall in Fifteen Minutes

A folding aluminium frame that opens out in one piece, with printed fabric panels that push into it by a silicone edge sewn around each graphic. That edge is what "SEG" stands for: silicone edge graphic. It holds the fabric taut and flat, with no poles or clips on show.

Four widths, all 2235mm tall and 340mm deep. One person can set one up in about 15 minutes. Indoor use only.

Sizes

The 4×3 at 2970mm fills a 3m back wall. The 3×3 leaves room for a banner stand at one end. The 1×3 and 2×3 suit smaller spaces, or can be placed alongside a larger unit or at a right angle to it to form an L-shape.

Remember the 340mm depth when planning your space. The frame stands out from the wall, and the end panels wrap round its sides.

Single or Double Sided

Single sided comes with three graphic panels: one large face and two end panels. The back of the frame is left bare. Choose it when the unit stands against a wall or shell scheme panel.

Double sided adds a fourth panel, a second face graphic that covers the back. Choose it for island stands, open venues and room dividers, or anywhere people will walk behind the unit.

Putting It Up

Open the frame out to its full size and lock it. Then press the silicone edge of each graphic into the channel around the frame, starting at the corners and working along each edge. One person can do the whole unit in about 15 minutes.

The face graphic has silicone edging on all four sides. The end panels only have it on their long edges and are hemmed at the top and bottom, so the ends fit differently from the face. That is why the end panels are slightly taller in the artwork template.

What Goes Wrong, and Why

A ripple or gap along one edge. The silicone edge hasn't been pushed fully into its channel at that point. Run your thumb along the edge and press it home.

The frame shows through the fabric. The fabric isn't completely opaque. Strong light from above or behind, such as a spotlight or a window, can show the outline of the frame. Move or angle the unit away from the light.

A design across the corner doesn't line up. Each panel is a separate piece of fabric, and fabric moves slightly during printing, cutting and sewing. Don't run text, lines or detailed shapes across from the face to an end panel. A plain background colour running across is fine.

Artwork is set up on old templates. The templates were last updated on 21 July 2025. Files made on earlier versions will need redoing, which delays your order. Download fresh templates below.

Artwork goes missing from the exported file. Each template has a locked, non-printing guides layer. Anything placed on it won't be exported or printed. Put every design element on the Design layer and check your exported PDF before sending it.

Replacement Graphics

The frame outlasts the graphics. Replacement graphic sets can be ordered on their own, so a rebrand or a new campaign means new fabric rather than a new stand.

Artwork Requirements

Use the template for your exact size and single or double sided. Templates are set up at 20% of full size, so make sure your images hold their resolution when scaled up five times.

• Red line, bleed: the background must run all the way to it
• Blue line, finished edge: roughly what's visible once the graphic is fitted
• Green lines, safe areas: keep text, logos and contact details inside them
• Artwork for every panel included, both end panels and, for double sided, both faces
• Everything on the Design layer, nothing on the guides layer
• Fonts outlined, images embedded
• No template guide lines, crop marks, bleed marks, colour bars or registration marks
• CMYK only. Dye-sublimation can't reproduce Pantone colours, so convert them before supplying.
• PDF preferred, AI or EPS also accepted

Seams are sewn in black or white thread, whichever suits your design. Once fitted, the only visible stitching is at the top and bottom of the left and right sides.

Every file is checked by a real person before printing, so obvious problems get flagged. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

Turnaround & Delivery

Production takes 3–4 working days. Turnaround covers production only — delivery is on top of that.

Standard UK delivery is free on all SEG fabric pop-up orders, whatever the size or quantity. Collection from our Burnley production facility is also available.

FAQs

What sizes are available?
Four: 1×3 (770mm wide), 2×3 (1505mm), 3×3 (2240mm) and 4×3 (2970mm). All are 2235mm tall and 340mm deep.

Will the 4×3 fit a 3m shell scheme?
Yes. At 2970mm wide it fits a 3m back wall.

How long does it take to set up?
About 15 minutes, and one person can do it.

How many graphic panels do I get?
Three for single sided (one face, two ends) and four for double sided (two faces, two ends).

What does the back of a single-sided unit look like?
The frame is visible. If people will see the back, choose double sided.

What does SEG mean?
Silicone edge graphic. A 9mm silicone strip is sewn around the fabric and pressed into a channel in the frame, which holds the graphic flat and taut.

Can I put two units together?
Yes. Units can stand alongside each other or at a right angle to form an L-shape.

Can I add lights?
Yes. LED lights are available as an extra, in pairs.

Can I use Pantone colours?
No. Dye-sublimation prints in CMYK only, so convert Pantone colours before sending your file.

Can I use it outdoors?
No. It's for indoor use only.

Can I order replacement graphics on their own?
Yes. The frame outlasts the fabric, so you can replace just the graphics.

What's the minimum order?
One unit.

Is delivery really free?
Yes. Standard UK delivery is included on all SEG fabric pop-up orders.
