Roller Banners for Exhibitions, Retail and Reception

A roller banner is the workhorse of portable display. It goes up in seconds, packs down into its own base, and puts two metres of branding at eye level wherever you need it — trade stands, shop floors, reception areas, conferences, open days.

Ours are printed on 330gsm grey-back PVC and supplied fully assembled with a carry bag, in five widths. No minimum order, and free UK delivery on every one.

Sizes

All banners stand 2000mm tall. The choice is width:

• 800 x 2000mm — the standard UK roller banner, and what most exhibition spaces are laid out around. The default if you're unsure.
• 850 x 2000mm — marginally wider, useful when your artwork needs a little more room without changing footprint significantly.
• 1000 x 2000mm — noticeably wider. Good where the banner stands alone rather than in a row, or where the design is image-led.
• 1200 x 2000mm — a substantial presence. Suits reception areas and larger stands where you're filling a wall rather than a slot.
• 1500 x 2000mm — our widest. Effectively a backdrop, and the option when one banner needs to do the job of two.

If you're exhibiting, check your stand dimensions before ordering. Shell scheme stands are usually laid out in metre or three-metre widths, and a 1500mm banner in a 2m space leaves very little room for anything else.

The Print Material

Every banner is printed on 330gsm grey-back PVC, which matters more than it sounds.

The grey backing blocks light from behind. Without it, a banner in front of a window or a lit stand shows through, and colours wash out. It also keeps the material opaque so the reverse doesn't ghost through the front.

At 330gsm the material has real weight to it. It hangs flat rather than curling at the edges — a common failure on lighter film banners after a few roll-ups — and resists creasing and tearing in transit. The non-reflective surface reads cleanly under exhibition lighting and doesn't glare in photographs.

The Cassette

Banners are supplied in a standard cassette with a carry bag, assembled and ready to stand up on site. Set up takes seconds — pull the graphic up, slot the pole into the back, and it's standing.

If the banner is going out most weeks rather than a couple of times a year, our premium roller banners use a heavier weighted cassette and a padded carry bag, which stands up better to repeated setups and transport.

Designing Your Banner

Two things are worth knowing before you set up artwork at this size.

The bottom of the banner disappears. Roughly 100mm rolls into the cassette, and at an exhibition the lower third is usually blocked by tables, people and other stands. Keep logos, headlines and contact details in the top two thirds, and treat the bottom section as decorative rather than functional.

Resolution matters more than you'd expect. An image that looks sharp on screen is being enlarged to two metres tall. Check photographs are genuinely high resolution at full size rather than scaled up — it's the single most common reason a banner arrives looking soft.

Artwork Requirements

Supply a print-ready PDF at your chosen finished size, in CMYK. Include bleed as specified in the template for your width, keep essential content clear of the bottom 100mm, and outline or embed your fonts.

Free templates are available for all five widths.

Every file is checked by a real person before printing, so obvious problems get flagged. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

Turnaround & Delivery

Choose a 1 working day turnaround for urgent orders, or 3–4 working days as standard. The first working day begins the day after your order is placed, and turnaround covers production only — delivery is on top of that.

Standard UK delivery is free on all roller banner orders, whatever the size or quantity. Collection from our Burnley production facility is also available.

What's the minimum order?
There isn't one. Order a single banner or as many as you need.

What sizes are available?
800mm, 850mm, 1000mm, 1200mm and 1500mm wide, all 2000mm tall.

What's included?
The printed graphic, fully assembled into a standard cassette, with a carry bag.

Does it come assembled?
Yes. The graphic is fitted into the cassette before it leaves us, so it's ready to stand up on site.

Can I have a premium cassette?
Not on this product. Our premium roller banners come with a heavier weighted cassette and a padded carry bag, in 800mm, 850mm and 1000mm widths.

Can I reuse it?
Yes. Rolled back into the cassette and kept in its bag, a roller banner will last through many events.

Can I use it outdoors?
Only in still, dry conditions. Roller banners are designed for indoor use — the base isn't weighted for wind. For outdoor display, use our outdoor roller banners instead.

How long does it take?
1 working day or 3–4 working days production, starting the day after you order, with delivery on top.

Is delivery really free?
Yes. Standard UK delivery is included on all roller banner orders, with no minimum spend.
