LinkedIn is the odd one out here, and deliberately so. It isn't pointing at passing consumers — it's pointing at the people who commission work: procurement, facilities managers, contractors, other business owners.

That changes where it belongs. A LinkedIn sticker earns its place on an office door, a reception desk or a trade stand far more than on the back of a van. The audience isn't walking past; they're already in the building.

Inside or Outside Glass?

A choice most people don't realise they have.

Standard adhesive sticks to the back of the vinyl, so the sticker goes on the outside of a surface — painted panels, metal, plastic, or the outside of glass.

Face adhesive puts the glue on the printed side, so the sticker applies to the inside of glass and reads correctly from outside. That's what you want for office windows, reception doors and glazed partitions.

For an office in particular, inside application is almost always the right choice. It's protected, it can't be picked at, and it looks considerably tidier on glass at close range where people can see the edges.

Sizes

• 80 x 80mm — the smallest. Suits laptop lids, folders, presentation cases and desk-level glass.
• 100 x 100mm — the usual choice for reception doors and office glazing.
• 120 x 120mm — a step up. Good on entrance doors and glazed partitions.
• 150 x 150mm — reads across a reception area or a trade stand.
• 200 x 200mm — the largest. For signage panels, exhibition graphics and vehicles.

At an office door, the smaller sizes usually look better. A 200mm icon on a glass entrance can read as heavy-handed in a B2B setting where the rest of your branding is understated.

The Material

Polymeric vinyl rather than the cheaper monomeric grade. Polymeric is more dimensionally stable, so it doesn't shrink back from the edges over time — the reason budget stickers develop a white border after a year.

A matching gloss laminate goes over the print, protecting it from UV fade, scratches and cleaning. On office glass that gets wiped daily, the laminate is what stops the print scuffing at the edges.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and durable enough for a vehicle if that's where it's going.

Applying Them

Peel and stick, no tools needed. Four things that make the difference between a clean application and a bubbled one:

Clean the surface properly. Warm soapy water, then dry it completely. Glass cleaner residue and polish both interfere with adhesion.

Don't apply in the cold. Adhesive doesn't grip well below about 10 degrees.

Work from the middle out. Squeegee or thumb from the centre towards the edges, pushing air ahead of you rather than trapping it.

Take extra care on interior glass. An office sticker is seen at arm's length by people waiting in reception, so bubbles and misalignment show far more than they would on a van.

What's the minimum order?
There isn't one. Order a single sticker or as many as you need.

Can I stick it inside a window?
Yes. Choose face adhesive and it applies to the inside of glass while reading correctly from outside. For office glazing this is usually the better option.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Polymeric vinyl with a gloss laminate handles rain, UV and general weathering.

Will it survive being cleaned?
Yes. The laminate protects the print from routine glass cleaning, though it's worth avoiding abrasive cleaners directly on the edges.

What surfaces work best?
Smooth, clean surfaces: glass, painted panels, metal and most plastics. Textured or dirty surfaces won't hold.

Can it be removed later?
Yes, and when removed carefully from a suitable surface it's designed to leave minimal residue.

What size for an office door?
80mm or 100mm usually looks right at close range. Larger sizes suit signage panels and exhibition graphics rather than glazing.
