Interlocking Presentation Folder Printing
Oversized A4 and A5 folders on 350gsm silk — no glue, no assembly mess, delivered flat and free.
Presentation Folders That Assemble Without Glue
Interlocking folders use fold-in tabs that slot into place, so the pocket holds itself together without glue or tape. They arrive flat, which keeps storage and postage costs down, and take a few seconds each to make up.
Printed on 350gsm silk board in full colour, with your choice of matt, gloss or soft touch lamination. Every folder includes a business card slit in the pocket. Minimum order is 25.
Sizes and Capacity
Folders are oversized, meaning they're cut slightly larger than the paper size they hold — a full A4 sheet drops into an oversized A4 folder without catching on the edges or needing to be trimmed.
Capacity is set by the spine, and determines how much the folder can hold:
- Oversized A4, 0mm capacity — flat spine. Suits a handful of sheets: a proposal, a quotation, a short welcome pack. The slimmest option and the neatest in the hand.
- Oversized A4, 7mm capacity — gusseted spine that expands. Takes a substantial document set, a full brochure pack, or a folder that needs to hold 40-odd sheets without straining the pocket.
- Oversized A5, 0mm capacity — flat spine, half the footprint. Good for compact handouts, event packs and anything going into a bag.
- Oversized A5, 7mm capacity — expanding spine at the smaller size, for compact packs with more inside than a few sheets.
If you're unsure, count the sheets you expect to put in. Under about ten, 0mm is fine and looks better. More than that, choose 7mm — an overfilled flat-spine folder pulls at the pocket tabs and won't sit closed.
Lamination Finishes
- Matt — low sheen, resists fingerprints, and gives a understated professional look. The most popular choice for corporate work.
- Gloss — high shine that lifts colour saturation. Best where the design is image-led and you want it to pop.
- Soft touch — a velvety, tactile finish. The most premium of the three, and noticeable the moment someone picks it up. Worth it where the folder itself is part of the impression.
All three add durability, which matters on a folder that gets handled, carried and reopened.
Designing a Folder
A folder isn't a flat rectangle, and this is where most first-time artwork goes wrong. The template includes the pocket, the fold lines, the interlocking tabs and the cut profile, all laid out flat.
Start from our template rather than building from scratch. Keep important content away from fold lines and tab areas, since anything crossing them will be interrupted when the folder is assembled. Remember the front cover is only part of the flat sheet — the pockets fold up over the lower section, so artwork placed there will end up hidden inside.
Bear in mind the business card slit sits within the right-hand pocket, so avoid placing critical detail directly behind it.

Free blank templates are available for A4 and A5 for Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Every file is checked by a real person before it goes to print, so obvious problems get flagged rather than printed. Please note we don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.
Turnaround & Delivery

Prefer a folder that arrives ready-made? Our glued presentation folders come with the pockets already fixed, so there's no assembly at your end.
FAQs
What's the minimum order?
25 folders.
What does "oversized" mean?
The folder is cut slightly larger than the paper size it holds, so a full A4 sheet fits into an oversized A4 folder without catching on the edges or needing trimming.
What's the difference between 0mm and 7mm capacity?
Capacity is set by the spine. 0mm is a flat spine, suited to around ten sheets or fewer. 7mm has an expanding gusset and holds a substantially thicker document set.
Do the folders come assembled?
No. They're supplied flat and the pockets interlock into place — no glue or tape needed, and it takes a few seconds per folder. If you'd rather they arrived made up, choose our glued presentation folders instead.
Is there a business card slit?
Yes. Every folder includes a slit in the pocket to hold a standard business card.
What board are they printed on?
350gsm silk, laminated in your choice of matt, gloss or soft touch.
Which lamination should I choose?
Matt resists fingerprints and suits corporate work. Gloss lifts colour on image-led designs. Soft touch is the most premium and most tactile.
Do I need to add crop marks?
No. Supply your PDF with 3mm bleed and no printer marks.
Is delivery really free?
Yes. Standard UK delivery is included on all interlocking folder orders, with no minimum spend.
