Turn Temporary Fencing Into Site Branding

A Heras panel is a large blank rectangle at eye level on a busy road. Printed banners turn that into advertising, site information and privacy screening at the same time, and they come down as easily as they go up.

Our banners are cut to 3375mm x 1780mm, which sits just inside the frame of a standard 3.5m x 2m Heras panel and leaves room for tensioning with bungee ball ties. Printed in full colour with fade-proof UV inks, on mesh that lets air through rather than turning your fence line into a sail.

Fire Rating and Site Compliance

All our Heras banners are M1/B1 fire rated, meeting UK and European fire safety standards. This is a mandatory requirement on many construction projects and for indoor events, and it's usually the first thing a site manager or event organiser checks. If your procurement process asks for certification, the rating covers it.

Choosing Your Material

Both options are mesh, and both allow 25% airflow through the surface, which reduces wind load on the panels and helps prevent fencing being blown over.

• Fabric Mesh Premium — a woven mesh with a substantial feel and excellent print definition. The harder-wearing of the two, and the sensible choice for long-term installations on exposed sites.
• AirMesh Polyester — a knitted polyester mesh, lighter and more flexible. Folds down small without creasing, which makes it easier to transport, store and reuse across multiple sites or events.

If the banner is going up once and staying for the duration of a build, choose Fabric Mesh Premium. If it's moving between events or sites, AirMesh is easier to live with.

Angled or Square Corners

Heras panels come in two frame styles, and the corner shape needs to match:

• Angled corners — a 130mm cut at the top corners, shaped to fit round top Heras panels. This is the most common panel type on UK sites.
• Square corners — for square-framed panels.

Check your panels before ordering. An angled banner on a square panel leaves a visible gap at the top corners, and a square banner on a round-top panel won't sit flush.

Gate Covers and Multi-Panel Runners

Standard panels are only part of it. We also print:

• Vehicle and pedestrian gate covers — sized for the gate panels in a temporary fence line, so your branding runs unbroken across the site entrance rather than stopping at the gateway.
• Multi-panel runners — a single continuous banner spanning several panels, for artwork that needs to read as one piece rather than repeating. Widths up to around 30m. Long runs are printed in sections and welded together.

Fitting and Installation

Banners are secured with bungee ball ties through the eyelets, which allows a small amount of give in high wind and makes removal straightforward when the site moves on.

Two banners can be fitted to the same panel, front and back. Bear in mind there will be some show-through of one graphic to the other — mesh is not opaque, so a light design on one side will pick up a dark design on the reverse. If both faces matter, consider keeping the two artworks tonally similar.

Sizes Outside the Standard

The 3375mm x 1780mm size covers industry-standard Heras panels, but banners can be produced to any size required. If your fencing differs, or you need something bespoke, contact us with the dimensions and we'll quote it.

Artwork

Free templates are available for all four standard combinations — PVC and AirMesh, in angled and square corner versions, all at 3375mm x 1780mm.

Artwork should be supplied as a print-ready PDF. Bear in mind the top corners on angled versions are cut, so keep logos and critical text clear of that area.

Every file is checked by a real person before it goes to print, so obvious problems get flagged rather than printed. Please note we don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

Turnaround & Delivery

Production takes 3–4 working days from receipt of artwork. Turnaround is production time only and doesn't include delivery.

Standard UK delivery is free on all Heras fencing banner orders, whatever the quantity. Collection from our Burnley facility is also available.

What size are your Heras banners?
