Folded Wall Planners for Mailing and Handouts

A wall planner earns its place by staying up all year. Unlike most printed marketing, it isn't read once and binned — it goes on an office wall in January and your branding is still there in December.

Folded planners solve the distribution problem. An unfolded A1 sheet needs a tube, which is expensive to post and awkward to hand out. Supplied folded and pre-creased, these go straight into an envelope, a conference bag or a Christmas mailer, and open out to full size on the wall.

Available in two sizes, printed in full colour on silk stock, from just 25 copies.

Sizes

• A1 folded to A4 (594 x 841mm open) — the standard office wall planner. Room for a full year across twelve columns with space to write in each day.
• A2 folded to A5 (420 x 594mm open) — more compact, and cheaper to post in volume. Suits smaller offices, home working, or mailings where postage cost matters.

Both are supplied pre-creased and folded flat, ready to mail or hand out.

Paper Stocks

• 150gsm silk — the standard choice. Light enough to keep postage costs down on a large mailing, and perfectly adequate for a planner that stays on a wall.
• 170gsm silk — noticeably more substantial. Holds up better to being written on repeatedly through the year, and less prone to tearing at the fold lines or around the pin holes.

If the planner is a giveaway going out in volume, 150gsm is the sensible option. If it's a client-facing piece that needs to look good in December as well as January, 170gsm is worth the difference.

Designing Your Planner

Planners are printed single sided, so everything needs to work on one face.

Bear in mind the creases when laying out your design. Content that sits directly on a fold line will crack slightly over time, so keep logos and important detail clear of the folds where possible. Our templates show where the creases fall.

Leave enough space in each date cell for handwriting — a planner nobody can write on gets replaced with one they can.

Artwork Requirements

• Bleed: 3mm all round
• Safe zone: 3mm
• Resolution: 300 dpi minimum
• Format: PDF, CMYK
• Fonts: outlined or embedded
• Artwork: one design per order

Free dated templates are available for A1 and A2 with the calendar grid already laid out, so you only need to add your branding.

Every file is checked by a real person before printing, so obvious problems get flagged. We don't make changes or fixes to artwork — files should be supplied print-ready.

Christmas Ordering Deadline

Order by 15th December for delivery before Christmas.

That said, planners are worth ordering well before then. Most go out as part of a Christmas mailing or a New Year handout, which means they need to be in your hands with time to stuff envelopes and post them. November is the sensible month for a large run.

Turnaround & Delivery

Production takes 3–4 working days from receipt of artwork. The first working day begins the day after your order is placed, and turnaround covers production only — delivery is on top of that.

Standard UK delivery is free on all folded wall planner orders, whatever the size or quantity. Collection from our Burnley facility is also available.

No. This product allows one artwork per order. If you need several designs, add each as a separate item before checkout.

Production is 3–4 working days from receipt of artwork, with delivery on top of that.
