Artwork

Bleed is space added around the original size of your printed product. To enable us to create the edge to edge printed effect we must cut into the artwork. We advise a minimum of 2mm bleed on all four sides for small format products. 

Wide-format products a minimum of 5mm bleed.

There is a 2mm tolerance for cutting on all jobs - we can't be perfect every time! 

The safe area is the area where all the text you want on your printed product is to be inside. On our design tool this area is marked with a green dashed line. 

300dpi (dots per inch) should be used at all times. This allows us to print the best quality artwork we can.

Its always best to order from our website as that keeps everything in a work flow for us. This enables us to create your printed product quickly and on time.

Payment is an easy part of the check out process. You will be asked to input your card details upon checking out. 

We aim to complete all orders within 2 working days of the order. This, however, is only a guideline. If we cannot meet this deadline we will let you know immediately. Some of our products that are advertised as same-day print must be ordered before 10am to qualify. 

Products

We may very well be able to edit the design for a different product. Please contact us and we will be more than happy to take a look.

On every product page, you have the option of BROWSE DESIGN, UPLOAD DESIGN OR CUSTOM DESIGN.

Browse design will let you see all of our pre-designed templates that you can edit to your liking.
Upload Design will let you upload your pdf file, which will then preview on the screen showing you bleed and safe zone.
Custom Design will provide you with a blank template in our design tool to create your own masterpiece.

Yes, all of our paper stocks is already FSC certified.

Yes, we do bespoke work. It does cost a little extra than normal print but it’s a possibility. Please contact us to find out more. 

There are three options for designing and customizing a product. Click a product on the left-hand panel and choose one of the options.

1. Custom Design: lets you customize the products. Click it to open the design studio and use multiple tools to create your own design.

2. Upload Design: using this option, you can upload your own JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, EPS, AI, PDF and PSD images.

3. Browse Design: use this to select hundreds of pre-loaded templates. Work on them or customize them through our design studio.

The type of paper used for difference purposes is expressed in weight. In the countries following the European system, it is grammes per square metre (gsm)

Our paper stocks range from 80gsm - 170gsm

Card stocks range from 170gsm to 450gsm

Our laminates come in three choices.

Gloss Laminate - Gives a glossy shine to your printed product.

Matt Laminate - Gives a professional matt finish to your printed product.

Soft Touch Laminate - Is a silky velvet finish laminate. 

Delivery

Yes, we can deliver to any address as long as its within the United Kingdom.

Our delivery costs depend on which products you order and how big they are. We offer free delivery on 75% of our products.

Consignments sent from us use a next day delivery service. However Scotland and some remote areas of the United Kingdom may require an additional day to arrive.

Printing

We use CMYK on all our printed products. Some desktop publishing suites only use RGB. To ensure we print the correct colours all artwork must be converted to CMYK colour space. Our online designer uses CMYK colour palette.

300 dpi (dots per inch) is the resolution of the output PDF file.

We use a combination of litho and digital. All runs usually under a run of 1000 are done digitally. Larger runs are printed litho press. 

Pricing

No, the price list indicates basic prices of products against the speculative quantities. The prices are calculated with regard to the most basic paper/card types, sizes and single side printing. As you know, the final printing cost depends on many parameters: paper/card weights or thickness (GSM/Pt), glossy or matt finish, 2 or 4 colors, square or rounded corners, single or double side printing, quantity, destination shipping charges and the mode of transport. Please use the indicative prices for calculating the basic cost. Once you place the order using the above parameters, we will quickly mail you the final, exact cost.

Billing and Payment

If you do not have a credit account all orders must be paid via card at point of ordering. 

Orders from customers with a credit account will be automatically processed. (Subject to an agreed credit limit and any outstanding credit), then invoiced.

We no longer accept cheques as a payment method.

For customers that do not have a credit account with us, payment is required at the point of check out. Payment is required before we commence processing any artwork or production. 

For customers with a credit account, payment is required 30 days from the date of the invoice. Invoices are sent out shortly after delivery is made. Account statements are sent out via email once per month.

Late payment fees of £15 of 15% of the invoice value (whichever is greater) are applicable. We reserve the right to suspend, review or rescind credit accounts if our terms are not met.

All online payments we receive are secured via a secure payment server using the highest possible commercially available level of encryption.

 

No financial information is stored on any of our websites because it is all processed through our payment merchant.
