The Labels That Leave Your Name on the Board

Every consumer unit you work on needs labelling. A circuit schedule, an RCD test notice, a periodic inspection date, and a caution label if the cable colours are mixed. That's four stickers on the board, and they'll still be there in ten years.

The question is whose name is on them.

Which Sticker Do You Need?

• Circuit detail stickers — the full BS 7671 circuit schedule, thirteen rows, 150 x 110mm. Four per sheet.
• Periodic inspection stickers — the BS 7671 notice with date of last inspection and recommended date of next, 100 x 75mm. Four per sheet.
• RCD test stickers — the six-monthly test notice explaining how to use the 'T' button, 100 x 75mm. Four per sheet.
• Two wire stickers — yellow caution label for installations with wiring to two versions of BS 7671, 55 x 75mm. Six per sheet.
• Electricians sticker pack — all four of the above plus a branded 85 x 55mm sticker, five to a sheet. One order for the whole board.

Also worth a look: business card stickers on high tack vinyl, for boilers, meter cupboards and equipment where a standard sticker won't grip.

Pack or Individual Sheets?

It depends how evenly you get through them.

The pack gives you one of everything per job. A board change needs most of these anyway, so having them together means nothing gets forgotten.

Individual sheets make more sense if your usage is uneven. If you fit twenty circuit schedules for every two wire label, the pack leaves you with a drawer of caution stickers you'll never use.

Branded to You

Every sticker carries your logo, business name, phone number, email and any scheme accreditations — NICEIC, NAPIT, ELECSA, CHAS or otherwise. More than one is fine.

This is the part worth thinking about commercially. Board labels are the only marketing you'll ever do that's still working a decade later. When the RCD won't reset, when the inspection date passes, when the next contractor opens the board — yours is the number they see, printed once and doing the job ever since.

Free Artwork Setup

You don't need to supply print-ready files. Send your logo and details, and we'll set them into the templates and send a proof to check before anything prints.

Upload your logo at checkout using the artwork upload option, or choose to send it later and we'll email you a link. Tell us which accreditations to include at the same time.

The wording and layouts are fixed — only your branding changes — so there's no reason to make you do the artwork. Most sticker printers expect a finished PDF. We don't.

A high resolution PNG, JPEG or vector logo is ideal. A logo pulled from a website is often too small to print cleanly.

Free Sharpie With Every Order

The circuit schedule and periodic inspection labels have fields to complete on site. Vinyl needs a permanent marker — ballpoint and gel pens won't mark it reliably — so a Sharpie comes with every order.

The Material

All stickers are printed in full colour on durable self-adhesive vinyl. Weather-resistant, so external meter boxes and outdoor cupboards are fine, and tough enough for site conditions.

Turnaround & Delivery

Production takes 3 working days from artwork approval, with delivery on top of that.

Standard UK delivery is free on every electrician sticker order, whatever the quantity. Collection from our Burnley production facility is also available.
